What’s so different about the new Photo Showcase Application
What used to offer 10 slides now displays 20 linkable images. This is a great opportunity to really showcase your top merchandise and promote sales. Each slide can be linked to your online ecommerce store via the actual image itself or handy “Buy Now” buttons.
Turn on or off the “Buy Now” buttons! Go with the more direct version and shamelessly display those customizable buy now buttons directly below your product. Go with a more casual approach and hide them, making the actual image linkable to your site.
Have Google Analytics? The Photo Showcase will now allow you to plug in your Google Analytics snippet directly into the application to allow for tracking within your Google Analytics account, to monitor involvement of fans and the type of liveliness the App is creating for your Facebook Page.
Don’t want to upload a video? If you are feeling fancy and want to show off your coding skills the new applications offers a handy HTML portion that will support your coding ways. So be creative-upload HTML code directly into the App! The application also offers the option to display an entire URL within the App, so you can directly display your website within the App. Pretty cool.
The header image can be turned on or off and has the ability to link to an external site of your choosing. This allows you more branding space and will allow you to direct your fans to your website, blog, e-commerce store, etc. to continue the fun!
The App’s commenting section has been updated to be sleeker and more professional. This will allow fans to interact with one another and leave positive feedback for other users under each product image. Yet another great way to really spread the word about your brand.
